Terey was born Angela Terey Ross on August 17, 1992, in Washington, DC. As a self taught seamstress, she started off making cloth tote bags in high school & then eventually took her 1st sewing class. While pursuing a Business Management degree at Norfolk State, she decided to follow her dreams of designing her own clothing line. In 2019, she enrolled in PCC’s Fashion Design program to sharpen and formally learn fashion design.
In 2015 she organized her first fashion show at Capitale in Washington DC, showcasing FemmeUSA's first official collection. In 2017, she presented in an array of fashion events including: Richmond's Model Your Heart Charity Fashion Show and the following day in the infamous Spelman & Morehouse Homecoming Fashion Show (a.k.a. Spelhouse Homecoming), sponsored by Ford. There’s even the 1st Annual Runway for a Cure DC and had one of her designs displayed in The Black Goddess Tribute Exhibition at the Howard Theatre.
Terey's long term goal for FemmeUSA is to become a US-based manufacturer.
